Small scale Technology Certificates (STC’s)
When customers purchase a PV solar system today it is subsidised by a federal government scheme. STC’s are an electrical form of currency allocated to you when a system is installed. The price of STC’s changes according to the market conditions.

Feed in Tariffs
Feed in tariff is the rate you are paid for any extra electricity your PV system generates and is fed back into the grid. These are paid at a rate agreed upon by your electricity retailer you are with.
